Hello, I’m Lara
Project manager. Parent. Expat living in Zurich, Switzerland.
A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn't part of the long-term plan. Like many expat moves, it began as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far greater.
The early months were intense — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Daily chores felt more complicated than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of learning on the fly. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built CervadopeliSun
Most online resources were either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism material. What was lacking was a sincere, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Switzerland.
